We have been discussing what we are going to do this Easter Holidays and Kyd has decided he'd like to spend the day at the Science Museum, as according to him it's been far too long since we last visited.
The Science Museum is one of Kyd's favourite places in London as it is such a hands on day of learning and fun. We have been there too many times to count, including for special events which we have had the whole place to ourselves, spoilt I know. As he gets older the more I can physically see him discovering things he had over looked before, so it matters not how many times you have been, because their brains will always focus on something exciting and new to take in.
This Easter we are planning on going again and discovering something knew about Science. We are going to discuss with school what he's doing in Science and focus on that. If we know it is something they are doing at school at the moment we can keep up that interest whilst away from the classroom. I will make a nice break from Legoland (although you can find some awesome tips for Legoland Windsor here)
What's On This Easter...
The museum will be staying open for an extra hour during the school holidays and will have so much going on from Demonstrations and Tours, to Workshops and Storytelling. Take a look at their website HERE for what they have in store and stay tuned for our updates on our trip next week on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter... they'll show up below whilst we are there.
