This morning we woke up for the last time in our relaxing Welsh wooden lodge. We woke up to a few issues though as Kyd was a bit poorly. By the time we had sorted it, it was nearly 10am, check out time. Panic stricken, as we'd done no packing etc, I phoned the Staff at Bluestone and the very pleasant and helpful lady at security gave us an extra hour to sort ourselves out by contacting housekeeping and letting them know. Slightly less panicky we packed our bags, ate the fry up that had gone slightly cold, tidied up and loaded the car.
I couldn't thank the staff enough for that extra hour. Their sympathetic understanding really made a big difference to the feeling in the house. Nobody wants to leave a holiday feeling stressed and stressed we were.
We never got to go to the Blue Lagoon for that one final time *sobs* but we needed to get home to pick up a prescription so off we went back to Reading.
